Mo Challenge # 79

Morning!! :)

Well, that's it! Easter has been and gone, the children have gone back to school, and we're on the home run to the summer holidays!! Yay!! ...Before that though, I still have two girls with birthdays in the next 10 days! Soooo...with that in mind....and the fact that I'm playing 'Hostess' this week at Mo's challenge...my theme is...............PINK 'N' GIRLIE .....

So grab those pink Copics...papers and lace...and have a true girlie moment!

I have used the gorgeous Sadie with Apples image from Mo...and coloured her with Copics.

Music Saves My Soul...

What a gorgeous week weather wise, we've had here in the UK!! I've been here, there and everywhere catching up with friends and family up and down the country...what's 600ish miles amongst friends... AND of course to be shut in a car with the radio at volume...what could be better?? :)

Having said that...it's hard to choose ONE song for this weeks Music Saves My Soul!! Dum de dum....ummmm...

Ok...

I'm going with this as I just love it ♥ Who'd have thought he could come out with something so brilliant after his last huge hit?

THE Mo 'n' Zo Blog Hop!!!

Good morning...and welcome to THE hop of all HOPS!!! Two of the best designers (and their Design Teams) in the crafting world have come together for a hop full of fun...prizes...and inspiration!! They really don't get any better than this!! :)

For my card I have used the fabulous Circus Tent from Make It Crafty...and Jojo the clown from Mo's Digital Pencil x I've coloured the images with Copics, and made an acetate front which isn't that great to see, sorry x

This goes to show what a fabulous artist my dear friend Mo is...because I really DO NOT 'do' clowns...end of!!! But I'm starting to warm to this one :)

Happy 80th Birthday Mum x

Yes...today was the very special 80th Birthday for my dear Mum xx We had a wonderful day at my sister's...but somehow, I just forgot to bring home cake and balloons!! Phew!! lol My diet had a real blip today...birthday cake AND sausage rolls...not to mention French bread!!! gasp!!! Good luck with the rest of the cake and cheesecake Andrew...best you get peddling!!! lol

I made her card using one of the gorgeous Nice & Easel sheets from La Pashe, which I just adore!!

Mo Challenge # 78

Morning all x

It's Thursday...so that means it's Mo's Challenge Day! This week our fabulous teamy Dorcus, has set us all the theme of 'Start of Something New' as a challenge. That could be...new job...baby...school...hobby...in fact anything that is a new beginning x

A new life is always such a wonderful and precious thing, and the new little angel that's arrived is the Granddaughter of my dear friend Kathy, who we sadly lost on the 2nd April...just days before the arrival of baby Elizabeth x

I met Kathy about 6 years ago on Craft Swap Forum. I was new to all this 'chatting' lark back then (yes...hard to believe, I know! ) and forums etc were scary places...you hear all the horror stories of chatting to strangers on the net etc! Well, I have to say that I made some of the best friends of my life on there...and continue to make more as I travel in 'blogland' x

I've met a number of them several times at 'get togethers' and craft shows etc..and are just THE best xx ...Which reminds me...Lesley...get that choccy cake in the oven...I'm on my way!! :) x

Never underestimate friendships born from the net...the crafting community has a lot of very special people...and I'm so proud to be part of it x

Baby Elizabeth will of course have her very own Guardian Angel...Kathy will always be a special part of her life x

I have used one of the gorgeous images from the 'Diaper Crew' collection from Mo, and coloured 'her' with Copics. I made the bead pin myself and added a cross charm. The 'Love Hearts' embossing folder is by Crafts Too and available from Dragonfly Designs...as are Copics and the punches which I've used to make the flowers and leaves x

Mo Challenge # 77

Good Thursday morning to you. Doesn't it make such a difference to get up with the sun shining brightly? Just going to say a quick 'Happy Birthday' to my Emily, who has got to the ripe old age of sweet 16 today xx

With that in mind, this week's theme at Mo's Challenge is 'How does your garden grow' ... so anything garden inspired will work :)

I've used the gorgeous little 'Waiting for Rain' image from Mo. Well, we do need rain for our gardens, but if it could just keep to raining overnight that would be great :)

Don't forget to give the other DT girls a visit, because I know that they have wonderful things to show you...as always xx

Just Inklined To Hop!!

Morning :)

It's the first Monday of the month, so it's Just Inklined blog hop day!! It's the fourth one this year, which means there are only another 8 to go before Christmas!!! Eeek!! Now there's a scary thought!! lol

Anyway, here we are in April and our theme this month has been set by Jeni, (which is where the hop starts) and it's 'Bring in Spring' ...so anything with a touch of Spring to it is good :)

I've gone a bit mad and made a 'Spring' card...quite literally...and used the gorgeous 'We're Hungry' image available from La Pashe. It's been coloured using my trusty Copics.

I just know that the girls will 'WoW' you with their creations so be sure not to miss any x

Make It Colourful - Bright Colours

Good Morning :)

What a way to wake up! The sun is streaming through my windows...I was brought a cup of coffee by Katieann (she's 8...for a few more weeks!) ...and then she and Daisy sang * Happy Birthday * to me...awww x They also gave me handmade cards... Katieann's had £1 in change in it and Daisy's had a T bag! It just doesn't get any better than that does it?? xxxx

It's also Make it Colourful challenge day, and this week our theme is to 'Colour with Bright Colours'. We're being sponsored by the fabby Whimsy Stamps too!

Yay! It's the weekend once again...and Saturday = 'Music saves My Soul' day :)

This week I have chosen two totally fab artists...together!! It's so new that as yet it's not available to download (well, not in the 3 music shop for my phone)...and there's no normal video...just song lyric ones! However...I have found a remix version and that's more than good enough for me :0)
